This photo was shot during a listening session. The speakers on test were the Klein+Hummel O110D’s and the Genelec 8240A’s. I bought the Genelecs, more detailed sound, more bass extension and you can tonally adjust them to your room. This is a very handy feature when you’re recording on location, with the room correction function you can erase standing waves and other nasty room behavior.
The small speakers (with the wooden Zebrano fronts) are Kalkmann “The Kolibrie”. Sometimes used for checking radio compatibility.
